History
Built by the famous dutch shipyard Aluboot ("Aluboat"). Aluboot is specialised in building privately owned aluminium sailing yachts as well as motoryachts. Apart from that, the company has built more than 20 lifeboats for the Dutch SAR organisation KNRM. Lacon has been built, designed and owned for many years by the owner of the shipyard Aluboot. She has been commissioned in 2002, start construction of the hull was 1999.
