General

  • Remarks:

Originally Kelsall's Suncat 30 is an openbridgedeck catamaran. The present owner wanted more sheltered accommodation en therefor built a light and strong, sleek cabin over the bridgedeck and changed the interior layout of the hulls to his own taste. In this way he created a high performance , sleek cruising catamaran with two double bunks and two small singles, a spaciouis heads with bidet, a handy galley and lots of storage space. Thanks to the daggerboards and lifting rudders the "Nutmeg" can dry out on shallow sandbanks. The cockpit is arranged for solo-control with separate wheelsteering for the outboard and tillers with joysticks. The present configuration with fixed mast is not yet tested. The "Nutmeg" is for sale because of the physical condition of the owner.
