  • Remarks: Ancasta and Navigare Yachting have partnered up to offer you the opportunity to invest in this brand new Lagoon 40 to keep in Croatia, from 2021. The Navigare Yacht and Lifestyle investment program guarantees a broad range of holiday possibilities with absolutely none of the hassle or costs usually associated with yacht ownership.

There are three Yacht and Lifestyle investment options on offer, tailored to suit the needs of their investors over a 7-year period. Not only does each investor have the opportunity to enjoy wonderful sailing holidays, but the chance to make a return from yacht ownership OR pay just a fraction of the yacht price.
OPTION 1 - COMPLETE FINANCE. Where you loan Navigare the full purchase price €403,000 and receive a fixed revenue of €35,200 per annum years 1-5 and €28,000 in years 6-7.
OPTION 2 - SMART FINANCE. Where you loan Navigare €209,600 (advertised price) and the income from the investment will pay off the remaining loan.
OPTION 3 - SMART-LOW FINANCE. Where you pay a low initial payment of €166,000 with a balloon payment at the end of the 7-year term of €60,500. This option ties up less capital and the charter revenue is used to pay off the remaining loan on the boat.

For all options, there are no further costs, and you will also get access to the Navigare Holiday Program to the value of €21,000p.a. throughout the 7-year period. This program allows you a number of charter rental options in high, medium and low seasons on your own or any other boat in 53 sailing locations around the world, or alternatively, you can swap your allowance points for land holidays such as ski chalets, beach resorts and more. At the end of the agreement term, the boat is yours to sail away, sell-off, or even trade up, whichever program you choose.

Navigare Yachting is not only a leading premium charter company but is known to keep its investors at the forefront. We have full flexibility with layouts, term lengths and are also open to consider part exchanges, in order to make this the right investment for your requirements.

  • Berths:

The 40 interior is based on her predecessor, the Lagoon 39, but with some key refinements. As we have come to expect from Lagoon the saloon and cabins employ plenty of timber to provide a really cosy feeling on board.

The cabins are exceptionally spacious and well laid out. Headroom has been increased and careful use of LED mood lighting further improves the ambience on board. The saloon / galley features a large front-opening fridge, an optional top-loading fridge or freezer and a sliding navigator’s seat to provide extra seating around the dining table. A classic Lagoon feature, the galley faces aft to the cockpit for practical and social living.

Rig and sails

  • Sailplan type: Sloop
  • Comments: The sail area has been significantly increased in comparison with her predecessor, the 39, which in conjunction with some significant weight savings results in a much improved sailing performance in the lighter airs.

Situating the mast at the centre of gravity of the boat reduces the pitching effect while creating enough space for a self-tacking genoa, so upwind sailing could not be easier.

The increased mast height of the 40 creates an impressive sail area to displacement ratio of 4.17, similar to the Lagoon 42. Despite this the boom remains manageably short, which means it's easy to reef and to control in a gybe.

The Navigare spec includes the upgraded fully battened Dacron square top main sail and furling genoa.
