Van de Stadt
Van de Stadt designs, in its own words, 'comfortable performance yachts'. Whereas Van de Stadt used to do both design and yacht building, it started to specialise in yacht design in the 1970s. They still design with passion, but the construction is outsourced. Speed, comfort and quality are the most important aspects in the design of sailboats and some motorboats. Safety is also a high priority in a Van de Stadt boat. Founder and pioneer of yacht design E.G. van de Stadt passed away in 1999, but the company Van de Stadt Design lives on.
Van de Stadt models
In the more than 70 years of its existence, Van de Stadt Design has designed many different models of sailing boats. Some well-known models are the Van de Stadt 34 and the Van de Stadt 40 Caribbean.
In addition, Van de Stadt Design has designed many sailboats and some motorboats that do not bear the Van de Stadt name, such as the popular Winner and Fineliner models.
