Bekebrede Pilothouse Cutter 65 “Lyrics”
This steel pilothouse cutter is a real classic beauty. It was designed by Martin Bekebrede Yacht Design and launched by Dutch shipyard Mekon Yacht building in 2005. With its 360’ panoramic view the pilot house offers a comfortable living space, enabling sailors to stay inside in cold weather while sailing. Equipped with a new, robust Mitsubishi engine, Raymarine equipment, hydraulic gangway, generator, large tanks, solar panels and lithium batteries, spacious living area, it enables you to sail off the grid for weeks. Its shallow draught of 2.0 meters allows you to anchor in shallow waters. The vessel is easily handled by one or two people despite its size and even in the most extreme weather conditions. The sturdy steel hull provides a very safe place, protecting sailors from floating objects or orca attacks. Navigating the treacherous waters of the North West Passage requires a vessel equipped with precision and resilience, Lyrics is equipped with ample fuel en fresh water supply for this challenging journey.

The vessel is currently in the hands of its second owner from new. The current owner has sailed approximately 11.500 nautical miles with the vessel, venturing to the Mediterranean (Canarian Island, Ibiza, Palma) and the northern part of Europe (Tromsø, Norway).
