Aluminium Koopmans 54 Centerboard, a unique opportunity to get out sailing right away. Built in 2003 and partly refitted in 2022. Current owner invested a lot of time and money to get her in good condition, hull repainted, new set of sails, new standing rigging, teak deck overhauled etc. Easily handled by one or two people at all times even in the most extreme weather conditions, all sails handled by hydraulic operated Reckmann furlers and winches. Her retractable centerboard keel (1.58 draft when centerboard up, 3.60 when centerboard is down) allows for shallow draft destinations. Very spacious 3 cabin interior with nice pilothouse. Carpentry work carried out by Holterman Shipyard. All materials which have been used are oversized, thickness of material, power of a unit or number of backups.

First owner who had the vessel built owned her until around 2013. He predominantly sailed in the Netherlands and did not make any major voyages. The second owner bought Spirit of Blacklock in 2013 and sailed the ship around the Atlantic in 2016/2017. Current owners bought the vessel in late 2017 and started sailing from the Netherlands towards the Mediterranean in 2022.
