The overall sense of the salon is of spaciousness, natural light and soff spoken luxury. Upon entering, you will be struck by the volume, elegance, and natural light.
The dining table has a curved settee on the port side and free-standing chairs to create a large dining and entertaining area.
Starboard side lounge seating is forward of the nav station. The settee cushions deserve mention, they are made of triple density foam, intricately shaped and covered in high-end upholstery.
The forward-facing panoramic ports flood the salon with light. The overhead hatches provide ample more light and fantastic ventilation.
The nav station includes a curved wooden seat and plenty of room for all needed equipment.
The large galley is to port and aft of the salon. This galley is something that is only found on large yachts. The space is amazing with ample storage. There is four-burner gimbaled stove complete with an overhead extractor fan. The large fridge is front-loading with a top loading freezer.
There are four private staterooms. The very impressive owners' stateroom is aft, with a walk-around queen berth, private seating area, and ample storage with hanging lockers. There is abundant ventilation and natural light in this very comfortable stateroom. The private head includes a separate, fully moulded shower.
There are two large staterooms forward with individual heads and a shared shower. The fourth guest stateroom is located on the starboard side. The third head with shower is perfect for day use and for the use of fourth stateroom.
Sapphire Sky is boarded through the side stanchion gates or through the transom. The transom gate is easily controlled with a hydraulic system that also has a manual override. The transom lowers to provide a large step or swim platform and includes a wireless handheld remote control. There is also an emergency release for the transom door for quick access to the life-raft.
Passerelle is setup on the transom for stern tie dock access.
The hot and cold shower is accessible from the swim platform. The stairs to the deck from the transom are nicely angled for easy and safe access.
The very spacious and clear aft deck makes a great lounging area.
Moving forward is the centre cockpit. The centre cockpit design allows great visibility when maneuvering the boat. It also provides a very safe, cozy lounging area when underway and also is the perfect place to entertain guests at anchor.
The fixed windsheild provides protection from the elements and a very clear view of the bow. Dodger and bimini are brand new. All sail controls are led aft to electric winches which are all accessible from within the cockpit, making it practical to sail short-handed. The custom heavy duty Garhauer mainsheet traveller is aft, allowing efficient end-boom sheeting.
Moving forward from the cockpit is safe and easy with well placed hand holds and wide side decks. The genoa tracks are placed well inboard with adjustable leads. The windlass is controlled from the bow or from the cockpit. The large stainless stem head fitting has dual anchor rollers.
