General

• Remarks:

  This Dutch quality yacht is in excellent condition and we offer it on behalf of the 2nd owner. This Victoire 12.70 is equipped with a 1.75 keel so that a large sailing area of also shallower waters are accessible. Yet, the Victoire 12.70 is designed by renowned yachtdesigner Dick Koopmans for "blue water cruising" and can therefore certainly be called ocean worthy. The boat has mainly sailed on the IJsselmeer / Markermeer and never made long journeys. The beautiful classic lines of the hull are enhanced by the teak deck which is in good state. Also striking are the dorade air scoops with stainless steel protective brackets. From the sheltered cockpit with large steering wheel you have a good overview of the boat. All navigation instruments are easy to read from behind the steering position and the autopilot can be operated on the console. The sails are in good condition. For good upwind performance there is a high aspect (the boat is prepared for the use of cutter rigs) and on broad reach courses you can opt for the large genoa.

  The interior is very spacious for a 42 feet sailing yacht with sufficient headroom, even for tall people. To port is an L-shaped galley with double sink, oven and cool box with freezer compartment. There is plenty of storage space for provisions. On the starboard side you will find the navigation corner with the necessary equipment for navigation and amidships is the salon with seating area. In the bow is a double cabin and head with toilet and a sink. There is a lot of storage space throughout the boat. In the stern is a double cabin and a second head with shower and toilet on the starboard side. 

  The Victoire 1270 is a seaworthy yacht equipped with all the comforts for a long stay on board. If you have high requirements for sailing characteristics and finish comparable to Scandinavian yachts, then this boat is definitely worth a visit.
