It’s quite an opportunity…

    With heavy hearts, we’re putting Yndeleau up for sale. If the right new owner comes along, we’re happy for her to get back in the water soon. We planned to sail the Pacific and prepared Yndeleau as such. Yndeleau is currently located in Aruba, but we could deliver her anywhere in the Caribbean. Aruba is a great starting point for exploring the Caribbean; a great place to stock up, and set sail. Heading north to the Bahamas, Canada or the states? East into the Caribbean/Europe or west to San Blas or French Polynesia? She is ready. Insulated for the colder climates and cool with many fans for the hot climates. Step on board and sail away.

    Background:
    The boat has been build by the first owner with the plan to sail her back to his beloved Australia. He took many years to finish the boat and unfortunately because of health and life, he only put her in the water in 2001. After that our lady didn’t sail much. Only in 2019 she started the adventures that she was built for, after we prepared her for oceans and long-time live aboard. We are expecting our second child and for now the sailing is on-hold. But Yndeleau can’t wait, she wants to continue.. Are you the one that continues her journey across the oceans?

    Hop on board and go!
    This lady is made for traveling. The watermaker, huge battery pack, inverter, washing machine and solar panels makes sure you can stay on board self-sufficient forever (as we have more than proven during several lock-downs). Especially when you catch some fish with the fishing equipment onboard. The center cockpit, a hardtop steel dodger with unbreakable glass windows, a stainless steel railing and of course the overall stability of the famous Van De Stadt design makes it the safest boat in the anchorage. And you will probably also have the largest anchor, a Rocna 40kg (with even a high quality backup anchor of 30kg).  The Highfield hypalon dinghy fits on deck for safe passages and with the 15hp Yamaha 2 stroke you plane all the time, keeping you (and your groceries) dry.

    New Navigation and Autopilot + the famous Hydrovane
    The new Raymarine autopilot combined with the famous wind steering Hydrovane are the perfect combination for safe and energy efficient navigation. As an extra backup, there’s an emergency rudder and second steering set. We navigate on iPads (and the inboard computer as backup). In addition, we have a radar (to foresee squalls, rain and other boats) and a plotter (good for speed/direction on longer passages and for anchor watch). We also have an Epirb and externally installed MOB alarm, and fully equipped grabback with emergency fireworks.

    Refit 2019
    We completely refitted her in 2019. Endless improvements: new paint inside and out, new Hydranet (amazing material!) sails, new furlers (Furlex), new standing rigging, new running rigging, new solar panels and MPPTs, new batteries including Victron BMS (3x), new pressure water pumps, new electric toilet, completely newly build galley, new navigation corner and electrics, new Python drive, new flooring…

    Refit 2021
    When we were expecting our first baby we did another refit. We built a new bathroom/head, we added a watermaker and washing machine that can be run completely on solar/our batteries. We got completely new Raymarine navigation instruments (wind, depth, speed and autopilot). Yndeleau got a nose job with a new stainless steel anchor holder in the front. Lastly we rebuilded the corridor into a baby/childrens room. With an enclosed bed, cleaning station and wardrobe. This is easily turned back into a 1ps bed and tool/working station. The wall decorations are simply stickers that come off without a hassle. But you’re more than welcome to keep them, of course.
