  This stylish Breedendam MTB 26 is a timeless classic with great stable sailing characteristics to sail with fast pace but also very much for touring. The vessel is compact for her kind but offers all the space and facilities to spend weekends or a vacation. The spacious cockpit also offers enough opportunities for your company to sail comfortably. The captain's seat offers good visibility from the typical Breedendam MTB cockpit. A comfortable seat with a specially designed mahogany/teak footrest is also available for the passenger seat next to the captain. From these positions, the overview of the water is optimal, providing the necessary safety when sailing and manoeuvring in locks, for example. The wide view and the view from this cockpit over the water is useful but also magical!

  The Breedendam MTB 26 (MTB stands for "Motor Torpedo Boat", from which the architecture of the hull shape is derived) allows for overnight accommodation of two to four people. In the spacious forward cabin there is a large double bed. And it is quite possible to create a second bed arrangement in the spacious cockpit, cozy under the spray hood and aft tent.

  The MTB 26 is equipped with a Yanmar 75 HP 4 cylinder engine. Shipyard Breedendam-Tromp has provided the engine with the usual servicing and maintenance every year until now. The engine box is, as befits a Breedendam, very well sound insulated with a specially designed heavy sandwich construction.

  A special feature of this Breedendam MTB 26 is its stepless, low-noise VETUS MCV BOW PRO bow thruster, which is known for its technically superior manoeuvring characteristics. This bow thruster is brand new and in the winter of 2020-2021 by Shipyard the Breedendam-Tromp together with associated on a special construction in the fore cabin founded quality battery system; also by the specialists installed. Special attention deserves the subtle mahogany-wood extension of the dashboard where the joystick for this bow thruster is custom built.

  The electrics are controlled with two batteries. One working battery for the starter motor and an accessory battery with a relay switch so the boat can use the electricity even when anchored. The cockpit is self-draining using an automatic bilge pump with float.

  In the winter of 2020-2021, the transom and mahogany parts above deck were stripped bare and the prescribed ten coats of paint were rebuilt. Two new coats of paint were applied to the hull. As a result of this work, the described mahogany parts are in good condition and protected from UV.

  This year (2021-2022) the inside of the cockpit frames were stripped bare and built up with the Epifanes yacht paint system, i.e. the prescribed ten coats of paint.

  This MTB 26 was equipped with a completely new cushion set last year (2020-2021). Furthermore, the vessel has a swim ladder, a sink including submersible pump and it is possible to disassemble the cockpit frames or possibly to fold which makes it easy to sail under bridges.

  This unique Breedendam MTB-26 is in very goodcondition, is complete and ready to sail for the next season.
