    The boat was designed by Arvidssons and built by Swedish Yachtbuild in Gotheborg. The hull is still made of the old, slowly grown pine, copper riveted and the superstructure is made of mahogany. The Lemon was first an open sloop and was used to sail people to the ships in the Gotheborg estuary. Later the cabin was put on it. The boat is double steerable, with tiller and steering wheel.

    The Lemon is a real headturner. The boat is therefore in an excellent state of repair. The last refit of the hull was done in 2019/2020. The new tent was erected in 2019. The very reliable 3 cylinder Beta Marina diesel engine is very reliable. In 2020 two new batteries will be installed. The engine and the whole boat, will be maintained on a yearly basis.

    The Lemon is of course ideal for day recreation, but for sporty people also for longer treks. The boat has the necessary storage space. In the cabin you can spend the night, then you slide the benches together via a convenient construction and you have a wide bed of 1.60m and 2.05m long. The Lemon has been everywhere in the Netherlands, from the IJsselmeer to the Sliedrechtse Biesbosch and from the Gelderse IJssel to the port of Rotterdam!
