    Roompot Marina Yacht Service was asked to (further) prepare this ship for a trip around the world. The owner told us that many improvements have already been made, but he wanted RMYS to check this again. This is based on the experience and knowledge in the world of water sports.

    It soon became apparent that many improvements were only "optical" and certainly not structurally good and safe to navigate the oceans. Think, for example, of the anchors of the deck hardware that must still be able to withstand the heaviest loads.

    After a thorough study of the paint system on the blanket hull, both above and below the waterline, it appeared that in (too) many places on the deck and hull were not properly preserved and ultimately safety could not be guaranteed.

    RMYS then disassembled all deck hardware, preserved all welds between superstructure and deck, deck and hull, deck and freeboard, and tackled the "care" areas properly.

    An efficient paint system has been carefully appliquéed to be not only visually very beautiful, but also to be able to guarantee that rust formation would not become a point of insecurity.
