  'Arinos' is a wonderful example of Belgian craftsmanship. The boat was built in 1966 and was used by the first owner until 2021. The current owner sold the boat after 1 year due to moving abroad. 'Arinos' was re-inspected on January 11, 2023 for 7 years, with congratulations from the inspector on the beautiful condition of the ship!

  The entire boat is still in original condition, as she was built, and was maintained to perfection by the first and current owner. The engine room, the skipper's quarters, the forecastle, the hold,.... everything is nicely painted and has virtually no rust marks anywhere. The main engine and generator run smoothly and start immediately.

  The skipper's cabin is completely original and has a surface area of 28m2 and consists of 2 bedrooms, living room, toilet and kitchen and is ready to use.

  The forecastle at the front of the ship also remained completely original, is 16m2 and has 1 berth (room) and the laundry room.

  The hold (141m2) was completely preserved and varnished after the last transported cargo, the bottom still consists of the original plank floor and is the perfect basis for conversion. In the middle of the hold you will find a large cargo box that was used to transport the car. This was done for stability on the one hand and to keep the 'deckhouse' aft free for the dinghy.

After the inspection, the judge remarked that a ship in this condition could go straight into the museum! He had never seen this type of ship, with that age, in such a beautiful state!
