  Converted Spits as a sailing houseboat, 'Skipper', 1954

  This beautiful houseboat was completely converted by the owner himself with a great eye for detail and comfort. The boat consists of 2 separate living units, the original skipper's house at the rear with kitchen in the wheelhouse, living room, bedroom and shower room (still to be finished).

  The hold is also fully furnished as a home with 3 bedrooms, large living room with open kitchen and access to the roof terrace, bathroom, storage room and technical room. Furthermore, there is a lot of storage space under the living space which was raised.

  The boat is fully autonomous and can be used without a fixed shore connection for electricity, this is possible because of the solar installation (can be expanded) and a diesel generator of up to 30 kVa with inverter.

  Skipper' underwent a dry check in 2021 and has a valid inspection certificate until June 24, 2028.

  The boat has a permanent berth in Ypres, just outside the pleasure port. There is possibility to take a permanent concession at that location with fixed address.

  'Skipper' is suitable as a home but also for commercial operation, vacation rental, etc.
