Comments:
This beautifully lined yacht, by the hand of Ricus Van der Stadt concerns the design type Pimpernel. The Pimpernel, however, was at the time to be built in steel. Later, Van de Stadt made the drawings available for the construction of a polyester variant, under the name Agulhas 45. This Van de Stadt Agulhas 45 is one of the few examples in polyester.
The design offers a very nice semi S-shaped hull with attached keel. The yacht has a high ballast percentage, which ensures good stability. Solidly built in full glass laminate.
