    The TC-1040 is developed in the Netherlands to become the ultimate compromise between performance, comfort and versatility. The experienced New Zealand's TC Design Ltd spent a year to optimise the design for the deployment of CATRI-patented hydrofoils. The construction of the PVC foam-glass-epoxy sandwich yacht began in 2005 by M&M Boat builders at Drachten. After the launching in 2007 the developer Macon BV brought the "Nova" on her trailer to Spain, where she was further improved and fully developed out of Valencia on the basis of her behaviours in practice. The yacht offers two double cabins and a dinette that can be converted into a third double bed. A Kubota diesel generator provides the power for the electric drive with four blade Piranha propellor. The extensive equipment gives the "Nova" a high degree of autonomy. The trimaran is now for sale on her trailer on the East coast of Spain, due to the advanced age of the owner.
