Remarks:
More than 30.000 nautical miles has proven the SeaCart 30 to be a fast and reliable machine for serious offshore racing. As did Pete Goss and Paul Larsen who equipped a Seacart 30 and sailed it in the 2006 Round Britain and Ireland Race. The mainhull volume is great to have as safety when driving hard in downwind slopes. It’s also serves as a hideout for sleeping and cooking during over night races. In light conditions she may just skim the mainhull over a light chop. This is an exciting Grand Prix Machine, for serious racing or exhilarating outings on warm summerdays. Large rudders give great control and confidence in all conditions. Top speed so far: 27,4 knots. "Wegwezen" was imported from the Seychelles in 2010 by the present owner who set and still holds the record sailed distance in the 24hours Race of the Dutch Kustzeilers in 2011. The boat has been upgraded considerably and has an excellent set of North Racing Sails in addition to the original set. This trimaran is now overcomplete.
