Albin CIRRUS 78

General

• Remarks:

  Very neat Albin 78 "Cirrus" this is a cruiser/racer and comes out in ROC4. The interior is completely refurbished and varnished. New teak frames at the entrance further, this boat is equipped with a toilet with stainless steel holding tank, a plastic drinking water tank, a compressor cooler and a hot air heater.
  
  Mast and sails in good condition. The genoa sits on a Furlex furling jib with the drum below deck. The VP MD5a with saildrive and new folding propeller take care of the propulsion.

  The old epoxy system has been sanded off the (cork dry) underwater hull and is currently being fitted with a new epoxy paint system. Of course it is finished with an environmentally friendly antifouling.

  Albin 78 Cirrus presenterades 1978 och tillverkades till och med 1984. Enligt uppgift från läsare skall 738 exemplar ha tillverkats. Albin 78 tillverkades av Albin Marin. Fram till konkursen 1982 skedde tillverkningen i Kristinehamn. Därefter flyttade den till Visby. The flesta specimens are from årsmodellen 1979-1980. Av the 738 copies är drygt 600 tillverkade till och med 1980. Albin 78 är tillverkad enligt Sjöfartsverkets regler och har den blåa skylten. Enligt uppgift från läsare saknar dock cirka 40 exemplar runt number 400 den blåa skylten på grund av brister in säkerheten. Från och med 1980 har Albin 78 luckgarage och centrumlyft. The flesta båtarna såldes som 3/4-fabrikat
