General

  • Remarks:

Fully reefed! The Sabina, designed by the famous Frans Maas, is a beautifully lined steel yacht, built at the shipyard of the Maas brothers in Breskens. She was launched in 1961. The ship sails under the Dutch flag and is, given her age, not subject to VAT. The Sabina 37 is a fast and seaworthy sailing yacht with a pleasant sea behavior. The ship was restored to a very high level in 2005/2006 and received a new deck, blasted hull with a new modern paint system, new sails, a new mast and a new engine, with which this ship is now in an excellent condition. The hull is built in steel, the deck and superstructure is completely in epoxy and the lower deck is, just like the teak deck, completely renewed and attached to the hull on a steel flange. This ship is a purebred s-frame with a weighted lead keel. Ballast about 4500kg and the total weight is 10,5 tons. Den Arent has a cockpit with comfortable longitudinal seats and a tiller. The cabin entrance is fitted with a small sprayhood. Further falls on the sturdy radar mast on the aft deck and the windvane steering system at the back of the ship. Access to the winches on the sides of the cockpit is excellent.

In the centre of the yacht there is a nice size cabin, with the navigation table on port side and the galley on starboard. In the main cabin there is plenty of seating space around the folding table. Behind the benches are two extra berths. Hinges and other fittings are in chrome or stainless steel and firmly shaped handles. Doors are on both sides of solid mahony wood.

Comment broker: Ship is in exceptionally good condition. Fully equipped, classic beauty. Very many recent innovations.
