Themis is a beautiful rare design that you don't find on the market very often, she has been well looked after by her current owners. She is perfect for a couple or for a small family with a big aft cabin and heads compartment, whilst having a big centre cockpit which affords safe sailing activities. Her tri-radial main improves performance and is much easier to furl in and out compared to a standard furling main .
Many people lament the production end to the Beneteau Oceanis 40 CC in 2002 because she was such a popular boat (291 in total made by Beneteau of which Themis was one of the last in 2001). Her popularity was down to her excellent (old school) solidity, her wonderfully secure centre cockpit (hence 'CC' in her name) and ease of sailing (with all winches cockpit accessible and in mast furling, she really could be sailed singlehandedly). Down below, this traditional feel is maintained with a large saloon (the 'piece de resistance' of which is her massive Owner's Cabin - more like a double bedroom); her proper, full size, forward facing nav station and a wonderfully secure longitudinal galley. The for'ard guest double cabin continues this spacious feel with its own double sofa and en suite. Themis truly is a blue water, go-anywhere boat and - with the addition of a watermaker and a new Featherstream folding prop - you really can start planning your boating adventures for 2021 right now!
Easily located down in Poole, Themis can be viewed 7 days a week by calling our Poole and Portland office on +44 1202 672 588 / +44 7787 50 60 90 or emailing poole@ancasta.com I'll have a separate walkthrough video available for you in the next few days which I will send out separately - so don't forget to watch it to really get the feel of what she is like 'up close and personal'!
