The Lagoon 52F: the flybridge version of the L52
Designed by Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prevost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design Studio and the design department of Lagoon. During this process, far-reaching choices were made, without losing sight of the vision. Terms such as elegance, comfort, safety, user-friendliness and natural sailing performance were of paramount importance.
Lagoon 52: luxurious, modern and spacious....
In the design of the Lagoon 52, noble and luxurious materials have been used, with soft tones for a harmonious interior. Continuous horizontal and flowing lines give the interior an open feeling with generous spaces. The connection between exterior and interior that smoothly merge give a pleasant open experience. A slim design for a yacht with a strong character.
Lagoon's expertise has for years provided a safe
Vacuum - infusions for extra weight saving (important for a catamaran), an optimal structure and better protection of the environment and shipbuilders.
Interior of the woodwork in Alpi® veneer, (a durable wood species).
Vertical glazing offers better protection against the sun and is designed for extra (head) space.
Wing shaped bridge deck for more comfortable navigation in heavy seas...
A wide choice of layouts, including 3, 4 or 5 cabins, with 3, 4 or 5 toilets respectively.
VPLP design: optimal performance for the sail guaranteed!
Exterior: elegance, comfort and safety
The yacht is accessible via the open aft deck, for easy disembarkation and disembarkation.
Wide gangways, with sunken deck hatches.
The cockpit is on the same level as the saloon with a conservatory in the open air and a sun and relax zone to starboard.
The flybridge can be reached via stairs in the cockpit or via the starboard deck.
The steering position can be adjusted to three different positions. (starboard, centre or port) for optimum visibility under the sail or when manoeuvring.
Rigging: performance and user-friendliness
The decision to move the mast further aft comes directly from the designers with a lot of racing experience. It pays a lot for a cruising catamaran:
A large forward triangle makes it possible to choose a larger headsail. Something that will certainly improve performance.
The shorter boom makes the mainsail much easier to manoeuvre.
A large and relatively narrower, higher mainsail ensures better wind in the top and even better performance.
By re-centering the weight in this way, pitching is considerably reduced.
Interior: comfort, space, light...
The saloon includes the lounge and a dining table to starboard. A large galley connected to the cockpit forms a large 'L' shape with a table in the middle and beautiful sea views.
All cabins have a large double bed, a storage room which takes offshore sailing into account and a suite, bathroom with separate shower.
The cabins have a lot of natural light thanks to the fixed hull windows. The hatches provide excellent ventilation from the hull side and cockpit.
