The Kuperus Sloep 660 is a transom-built sloop. By the particularly graceful looking heart-shaped mirror and beautiful sheer she is a feast for the eyes. The slightly recessed decks also contribute to her classic appearance, while the line plan guarantees a high final stability and comfortable sailing in rough water. The Kuperus Sloep is Lloyd`s Register approved and is built according to the CE standard. The lowered front and rear deck gives our sloop just that little bit of extra appearance that is often lacking in other sloops.
Ready to sail, equipped with cable herring, spray hood, cushions etc. we can deliver this boat for an amount from € 27.500 euro.
Hull and tub are made entirely of polyester. Only Lloyd's approved resins are used. The polyester work was done by Offenga Polyester in Franeker. The engine foundation, a steel construction of 10 mm thick, is integrated in this. Because of the large number of trusses, a high rigidity is achieved, which benefits the sailing characteristics. In this way, we are able to build strong boats that are very low maintenance. The Kuperus Sloop is Lloyd`s Register approved and is built according to the CE standard.
In the 60`s, the basis was already laid for the current design of the Kuperus Sloop. The sloop was built as a rowing sloop especially for the nautical college in Harlingen. With this rowing sloop the first nautical principles were taught on the Wadden Sea. A number of Kuperus Sloepen in rowing version regularly participate in competitions such as Harlingen-Terschelling, Muiden-Pampus-Muiden and the Grachtenrace in Amsterdam.
The Kuperusloop 660 is equipped with a Yanmar diesel engine or an Electric drive.
Besides the 660, there is also a cabin version available, the 875. We would be happy to tell you more about this.
