An original model from England with a seamed appearance. The hull consists of 10 strakes, which enhances the stiffness and gracefulness of the sloop. At the end of 1800, beginning of 1900 such sloops stood as dinghies on deck of impressive sailing ships.
Nowadays this beautiful model can do the same service as a dinghy of your classic ship but of course also as a sloop to sail the ponds. Because of its low weight and depth, the Damarin 13 is very easy to trail.
This sloop is unsinkable. The double walled interior has benches all around with good ergonomics. The foredeck and cockpit floor have non-slip profile. Storage space is available under the front and aft deck. A cable ring is standard to emphasize the classic look.
Whatever propulsion you want, anything is possible. At the bottom of the keel is a recess for a substructure electric motor, the transom has a provision for an outboard engine and by adding a centreboard, and a gaff rig can be used to sail.
