In 2024/2025 is de Rodman 41 volledig gerenoveerd van de punt tot het zwemplateau werkelijk alles wat nodig was vervangen en de motoren gereviceerd voor een totaal bedrag van bijna 70.000 euro.

Na de renovatie is de Rodman hernoemd en gaat hij verder door het leven als NEWMAN 43

Het jacht is nog ongebruikt na de renovatie en vaarklaar voor seizoen 2025

Op deze Rodman is een speciale bulb gemonteerd (kosten destijds 25.000 euo) welke een brandstof besparing opleverd van zo,n 30%

Door de bulb wordt de stroming rond de boeg beïnvloed. Hierdoor wordt, afhankelijk van de snelheid, de golfweerstand van het schip verminderd. Hierdoor is minder vermogen en dus minder brandstof nodig om een bepaalde snelheid te bereiken, of kan bij hetzelfde vermogen een hogere snelheid worden bereikt.

Deze Rodman is door het toonaangevende tijdschrift Neptune getest door het unieke bulb systeem wat er op gebouwd is en tijdens de test kwamen er brandstofbesparingen uit van wel 30%

Tevens geeft de bulb ook een stabielere ligging aan het schip.

De unieke indeling met drie hutten voor 6 personen (2 x 2persoons bed en 1 x een stapelbed is een fantastische prestatie in een boot van dit formaat. Deze indeling is zeer bijzonder en uitermate geschikt om met meerdere personen te varen en te overnachten aan boord en biedt comfortabele, ruime slaapplaatsen met veel opbergruimte.

 

Het salongedeelte is goed ontworpen en biedt zitplaatsen voor minimaal zes personen met een groot achterdek en een zwemplatform voor entertainment. De keuken met zijn grote Corian-aanrechtblad, opbergruimte boven het hoofd en rondom uitzicht creëert een heerlijke ambiance voor het bereiden van maaltijden. 

De machinekamer is zeer economisch ingedeelt met makkelijke toegang tot alle essentiële onderdelen van de motor.

Kortom een prachtig schip in een zeer mooie staat.

In 2024/2025, the Rodman 41 was completely renovated from bow to swim platform, with everything that needed replacement being done, and the engines were overhauled for a total cost of nearly €70,000

After the renovation, the Rodman was renamed and now continues as NEWMAN 43.  

The yacht has not been used since the renovation and is ready to sail for the 2025 season.

This Rodman features a special bulb (costing €25,000 at the time) which results in a fuel saving of around 30%.  

The bulb influences the flow around the bow. Depending on speed, this reduces the wave resistance of the ship. As a result, less power and thus less fuel is needed to reach a certain speed, or a higher speed can be achieved with the same power.  

This Rodman was tested by the leading magazine Neptune, who confirmed fuel savings of up to 30% due to the unique bulb system.  

Additionally, the bulb provides a more stable positioning of the ship.  

The unique layout with three cabins for 6 persons (2x double beds and 1x bunk bed) is an impressive feat in a boat of this size. This layout is very special and ideal for cruising with multiple people, offering comfortable, spacious sleeping accommodations with ample storage.  

The saloon area is well-designed and offers seating for at least six people, with a large aft deck and a swim platform for entertainment. The kitchen, with its large Corian countertop, overhead storage, and panoramic views, creates a pleasant atmosphere for meal preparation.  

The engine room is efficiently laid out with easy access to all essential engine parts.  

In short, a beautiful yacht in excellent condition.
