German HanseGroup appoints Dirk Agter as Key Account Manager, Charter

HanseYachts AG opens for B2B Market. Dirk Agter will support all activities concerning charter fleets for the German company, one of the leading series production yacht builders in the world. HanseGroups sailboat range includes the well-known brands Hanse, Moody, Dehler, Varianta and the powerboat brand Fjord.

Dirk Agter, 49, from the Netherlands, has extensive experience in the yachting business as well as a close former relationship with the yard as Dutch sales manager for Hanse. Agter began in mid October as Key Account Manager, Charter. His first task is to build communications with charter fleet providers. He will also be responsible for charter related questions concerning product development.

In the past, the HanseGroup concentrated mainly on the development of owner yachts and private customers. The reasons HanseGroup decided to make the endeavor into charter yacht production are; the growing market segment; and Hanse’s specialized industrial building technique in production lines, which allows for a very flexible assembly process. The Hansebuilding-system is capable of producing large series, especially equipped on demand, in a short time.
