Maxwell wins double at Vitters Shipyard

Vitters is currently preparing the build of a spectacular 33 mtr (108ft) performance sloop designed by Philippe Briand. The hull is being constructed at Green Marine in Hythe, United Kingdom. Inoui’s carbon hull and superstructure will arrive at the yard in May 2012. Maxwell received the order for a completely customized below deck, submarine type windlass system. This system includes a VWC4500 windlass with remotely operated band brake, roller/chainstopper and chain.

Vitters also has a 46m Dubois performance sloop in build. For this aluminium performance cruiser Maxwell has received the order for a twin VWC6000 installation. Including chainstoppers, remotely operated band brakes and stainless steel base plates for the entire windlass arrangements. The hull recently arrived at the yard where she will be finished to be launched in 2013.
