- : Built in 2007 by Maxim Yachts in South Africa using the planning tunnel system which in now the industry standard and used by most planning hull designers. Constructed from GRP with a foam core from the waterline up she is very strong and can power through most all weather conditions in reasonable comfort. Powered by upgraded twin 540hp turbo Yanmar V drive diesels she cruises at 14 knots and her max speed is 22knots and carries two Onan 17kva generators for 220v power. Designed primarily for a commercial application this particular boat has berths for 12 people in 5 cabins plus extra two in the saloon area. She has a total of 3 heads and 5 showers and has fantastic entertaining areas including a fwd saloon that is set up as a cinema room with a large 42? flat screen and day beds fitted. Up the top the air conditioned enclosed wheelhouse offers a great driving position with a small open deck area at the stern of the flybridge. Down one level and where traditionally the wheel house would have been is a great usable space with looked looking windows that can be used as a bar area that looks down on to the aft saloon and galley. The galley is on the strb side and is large and well equipped with large fridges and commercial stove/oven. Opposite on the port side is U shaped seating surrounding a large dining table. This whole area is very social and the back opening doors open it up to the cockpit as well. The cockpit has a table and seating for up to 8 people and of course access to the boarding platforms and swim ladders. The boats design and chosen lay out have clearly worked from a commercial point of view and simply due to unforeseen circumstances do we now see the boat on the market. This boat is expected to create great interest in the industry as she is a late model working boat with many more years of service left in her yet.
