Location
As a brokerage house De Valk Monnickendam B.V. is situated since 1996 in the south-east corner of one of the largest fresh water lakes of Europe, the IJsselmeer. The office benefits from an excellent location just a short drive from Schiphol Airport and just 15 minutes away from the centre of Amsterdam. Her well equipped marina with 150 berths offers a Yachtcharter, a Yachtservice as well as a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view over the lake.
If you prefer even more open waters, the IJmuiden sea port is close by. Equally important for the brokarage house are the longstanding relationships developed by our dedicated, multilingual crew with her national and international client base. De Valk Monnickendam offers a wide variety of motoryachts and sailyachts in the 30-60 feet range.
The enthusiastic and dedicated De Valk Monnickendam team consists of Pieter and Imca Bosma, and Reinier van der Wolf . We are at your service seven days a week. - : De Vries Lentsch 42' sailing yacht "Noordster", built in 1939 by 't Fort in Amsterdam - Holland, design by Arthur tiller. Dim.: 12,70 m (Lwl 8,70 m) x 2,70 m x 1,70 m. Steel hull, aluminium deck, superstructure and cockpit, cockpit laid with teak, deck with anti-slip. Complete yacht in- and outside painted/varnished. Glass windows in aluminium framing, S-shaped hull with Tumble hole. Displacement: 8,2 tonnes, ballast: 3,75 tonnes (lead). Fuel tank capacity: 140 litres - steel in keel, small tank with 10 litres diesel for heating. Fresh water tank: 75 litres - stainless steel in keel. Tiller steering + emergency tiller. All seacocks replaced. "Noordster" is built in 1939 by 't Ford in Amsterdam (De Vries Lentsch en van de Stadt) and designed by Arthur Killer. The complete yacht in- and outside painted/varnished.
