China Selene Yachts has a world-renowned reputation for building quality long range cruisers. When you step on board the first impression is a quality finish, creating a luxurious cruising experience. From Northland to the deep South, you will be sure to feel safe and at home. High quality woods and veneers, fabrics, granite, and glass all complement each other with some outstanding joinery. This boat has all the capabilities of a small ship with a comfortable plush interior.
The main saloon and galley are comfortably positioned in the aft/centre of the boat. Again, with seakeeping in mind this most stable area and offers a social experience when entertaining. Stepping up into the Bridge, simplicity and visibility are at the forefront of the Selene design, with a cleverly thought out watchkeepers bunk positioned just behind the bridge seating.
Moving downstairs to the accommodation the washing machine is mid deck in the portside stairwell, tucked away but so easily accessed. Then a few steps down is the double bunk cabin nestled in the bow of the vessel with the large master cabin aft of the stair directly under the bridge. Offering an ensuite as well as access to the engine room through the shower. Another well thought out idea for engine room visibility while underway. The engine room offers all the large boat redundancies one would expect when at sea, with a generator, diesel heater and best of all, great access to the engine itself. The single screw, bow and stern thruster are the ultimate combination of simplicity and manoeuvrability.
The famously high bow offers a spacious anchoring area with an option for a secondary anchor. The distinctive mast & boom that are evident in every profile view, are functional equipment, an electric 12VDC winch to make the job easy, providing the means to lift the tender from the deck to the water.
Overall this is the kind of boat that is capable of almost anything and is turn key ready for cruising through 2024.
